The renewal of products has been the norm in the infrastructure software industry. On the one hand, scenario-based O&M deployment, cloud service system, and other multi-level form of services emerge as technology develops. On the other hand, the features of older-version products which have been leased to clients are gradually not capable of meeting the ever-changing business demands of users, resulting in an increasing number of challenges in terms of platform stability, resource elasticity and processing performance, access security, API compatibility, etc. Gradually, former versions of ZStack Cloud will be replaced by newer versions with more powerful and easy-to-use features.
Under the circumstances, managing product lifecycle and introducing new product versions at a reasonable pace will help ZStack users improve their technological advancement and enhance their efficiency adopting cloud computing. At the same time, we can also focus more on providing better services and prevent ineffective maintenance workloads.
With ZStack Cloud’s lifecycle policy, users can track the current lifecycle status of the products at any time. They can also obtain maximum product support in a timely manner and strategically plan for product usage, upgrades and support service extension. ZStack Cloud Lifecycle Management Policy is formulated based on extensive external research and internal analysis with our users and ZStack experts. The policy clearly documents the product lifecycle strategy and product termination strategy, helping ZStack users to better know the details and plan in advance.

1.After the release of each of the major software versions, at least two years of sales period will be provided. ZStack Int’l will announce the EOM date of a specific software version on its official website. And ZStack Int’l will stop accepting any new orders for this version after EOM.
2.Typically, ZStack Int’l will provide at least two years of patch development support after EOM. During this period, ZStack Int’l will provide feature enhancements and bug fixes for this software version. After EOFS, no more feature enhancements or bug fixes will be provided, and ZStack Int’l will only fix some severe bugs and security vulnerabilities if necessary.
3.Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version before EOS.
4.After EOS, ZStack Int’l will no longer provide any services, including fixing software bugs and security vulnerabilities. Users may need to upgrade to a new software version to continue to receive after-sales support services.
5.For After-sales Support Service Contracts signed before EOM, users can at maximum apply for a renewal within five years after EOM to extend service support, but the support service duration of the software product cannot exceed the EOS date in principle.
6.For software products that reached EOM for over five years, ZStack Int’l will in principle no longer provide maintenance and support services for these products. However, in order to better safeguard the interests of users, ZStack Int’l can continue to provide paid services at the request of individual users as its own support capabilities permit. However, the specific support service contract needs to be signed after separate negotiation.
7. ZStack Int’l will provide support within its capabilities for product-related failures or problems that occur after EOS or agreed deadline of support services, but will not be liable for any legal or indemnity obligations.
